Fire alarm panels installed in facilities dated from 1988 to the present day, consequently fire alarm signalling to the Tindal Base fire station was via differing communications media, signalling equipment and processes.

We conducted an audit of alarm signalling equipment from all panels. With this information we assessed available technology options including cost comparisons and made a recommendation to the Ventia (Broadspectrum) Management Team the most efficient approach was to transform (rather than upgrade) the system.
